Charlotte’s Web Poem

Charlotte’s Web

In Zuckerman’s barn, cozy and bright,
Lived Charlotte the spider, weaving by night.
Her web was magic, her heart was kind,
A truer friend you’d never find.

Wilbur the pig, so plump and sweet,
Felt scared and small with wobbly feet.
But Charlotte promised, strong and wise,
To help him shine before their eyes.

She spun her words, both bold and clear—
“Some Pig,” “Terrific,” for all to hear.
Her silky threads brought hope and cheer,
And kept her promise year by year.

Templeton the rat, though grumpy and sly,
Scurried to help when food was nearby.
Together they worked, a clever crew,
Showing what friendship and love can do.

Fern, their friend with a caring heart,
Watched as the animals played their part.
Through every season, joy and pain,
Their bond of love would still remain.

When Charlotte’s time grew sadly near,
She left behind her message clear:
That kindness lasts beyond our days,
In words, in love, in gentle ways.

So remember Charlotte, brave and true,
And Wilbur, too, with skies so blue.
Their tale reminds both you and me—
Friendship’s the greatest gift there can be.

The End!
