Listen to “Christmas Story -The Christmas Tree's Wish” on Spreaker.

In a quiet forest blanketed with snow, a young pine tree stood among the towering giants. Her name was Twinkle, and she had one big wish: to become a Christmas tree and bring joy to a family.

The older trees often teased her. β€œWhy would anyone pick you?” one chuckled. β€œYou’re too small!”

But Twinkle didn’t let their words dim her dream. Every night, she whispered her wish to the stars above.

One frosty morning, a cheerful family came into the forest with saws and smiles. β€œLet’s find the perfect Christmas tree!” said the dad.

Twinkle watched as they admired the tall, strong trees. Her tiny branches drooped. β€œThey’ll never notice me,” she sighed.

But then, the youngest child, a girl named Mia, spotted Twinkle. β€œLook, Dad! This tree is perfect!”

The dad crouched down, examining Twinkle. β€œShe’s a little small,” he said.

β€œShe’s just right,” Mia insisted, her eyes sparkling.

Reluctantly, the dad agreed. They carefully cut Twinkle down and brought her home. Twinkle’s heart soaredβ€”her wish was coming true!

At their cozy house, Mia and her family decorated Twinkle with colorful lights, shiny ornaments, and a golden star on top. Twinkle sparkled proudly in the corner of the living room, basking in the warmth of the family’s laughter.

But as night fell, Twinkle noticed Mia sitting quietly beside her.

β€œWhat’s wrong, Mia?” Twinkle asked softly, her voice as gentle as the wind.

Mia looked up, surprised. β€œYou can talk?”

β€œOnly to those who truly believe in Christmas magic,” Twinkle said with a twinkle in her voice. β€œNow, tell me what’s bothering you.”

Mia sighed. β€œThis Christmas feels different. My big brother is away at college, and Grandma is too far to visit. It’s like part of our family is missing.”

Twinkle’s branches drooped in sympathy. β€œI understand. But maybe I can help.”

β€œHow?” Mia asked.

β€œChristmas magic works best when shared,” Twinkle said. β€œLet’s make your loved ones feel like they’re here with us.”

Inspired, Mia and Twinkle worked together. They crafted paper ornaments shaped like hearts and wrote messages on them for her brother and grandma. β€œWe miss you” and β€œWish you were here” filled the room with love.

Mia’s parents joined in, writing their own notes. Then they set up a video call with her brother and grandma, showing them the tree and reading the messages aloud.

Her brother grinned. β€œI feel like I’m right there with you!”

Grandma wiped a happy tear. β€œThis is the best Christmas surprise.”

Twinkle glowed brighter than ever, her little branches beaming with pride. She had brought the family closer, just as she had always dreamed.

On Christmas morning, Mia gave Twinkle a gentle hug. β€œThank you for making this Christmas so special,” she whispered.

Twinkle’s heart swelled with joy. She knew that being a Christmas tree wasn’t just about decorationsβ€”it was about bringing people together.

And from that day on, Twinkle’s glow was the brightest in the forest, her wish fulfilled in the best way possible.

The end!
